According to the article “AIDS-not Someone Else’s Problem” from “Making Connections”, AIDS, the worldwide problem has been talked. AIDS began to appear at the late 1970s in the United States and finally got a name in 1982. Most patients are young, white homosexual men and they died weakly. For three reasons, the United States didn’t respond too much to AIDS. At the same time, scientist tried to find some information about AIDS. They found out the cause of it and how it transferred. After 1984, AIDS became global problem. Other groups of people like teenagers, women and so on got AIDS. It also can be found in the whole world. So every country put a lot of money to do the research of finding the cure of AIDS. But it didn’t have any evident advance. The drugs so far can’t cure AIDS. There are some rules that can help prevent getting AIDS but still didn’t work so well.
